NHS vouchers 

You may be eligible for help with the cost of NHS eyewear if you:

​

  • Are aged 16, 17 or 18 and in full-time education.

  • Qualify for an NHS complex lens voucher, as confirmed by your optometrist.

  • Receive Income Support or income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance.

  • Receive Pension Credit Guarantee Credit.

  • Receive income-based Employment and Support Allowance.

  • Receive Universal Credit.

  • Hold a valid NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate or are named on one.

  • Hold a valid NHS HC2 certificate for full help with health costs. If you have an HC3 certificate for partial help, you may also qualify.
